Story/Mixed Media/Clay Sensory Art for K-2nd Grade

The Junction City Arts Council is excited to present a fun and creative art class just for kids in grades K-2! Join us for an adventure inspired by the beloved book Bear Came Along.

In this class, children will first enjoy the story of Bear and his companions as they journey together. After the story, Kids will create their own sensory painting and clay figure based on the book using watercolor paints, Kool-Aid, and Crayola Model Magic clay! They’ll learn how to draw and paint the characters and scenes from the story, bringing Bear’s adventure to life, AND then form a clay figure from the story. This class is designed to be a fun, hands-on experience that encourages creativity and imagination.
