Our “Mixed Media Chicken Fun: Story & Art” class is designed for K-2nd graders who love stories and hands-on creativity. Hosted by the Junction City Arts Council, this delightful class will combine the joy of storytelling with fun, interactive art projects.
The adventure begins with a reading of “Interrupting Chicken”, a playful tale that’s sure to bring smiles and laughter. After storytime, kids will dive into two exciting art projects:
Chicken Tracks Art: Using paint and pipe cleaners, children will create their own colorful chicken tracks. Bejeweled Chickens: Kids will shape clay into chickens and decorate them with beads, jewels, and other sparkling materials.
This one-hour class is the perfect way for your little ones to express their creativity, explore mixed media art, and enjoy a beloved children’s book. Space is limited, so make sure to secure a spot!
We want every child to enjoy this experience, so the class is offered with a buyer-sets-the-payment structure. Pay what feels right for your family and let your child immerse themselves in this fun, creative adventure.
